LOUISE CROUMIE
SEVEN SPRINGS -- Louise Whipple Croumie, 86, of 5845 N.C. Highway 55 East, died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Croumie was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Raynor Whipple and was the widow of Richard Earl Croumie Sr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, Virginia. Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Croumie is survived by five children, Joyce Bryant of Jaffrey, N.H., Judy Reynolds of Suffolk, Va., Rita Merrifield of Keene, N.H., Richard E. Croumie Jr. of Peterboro, N.H., and Gerald Croumie of Milford, Mich.; and 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Locally, Mrs. Croumie is survived by a granddaughter, Diane Rouse and husband, Ed of Seven Springs; along with a great-grandson, Chris Rouse.
Local arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
