MOUNT OLIVE -- Edward Warren Jr., 66, of 2274 Seward Ave., Bronx, N.Y., formerly of Wayne County, died Tuesday at Albert Einstein Hospital in New York.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Gospel Light Holy Church in Mount Olive. The Rev. Patricia Peterson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Carver Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Warren of the home; one son, Edward Warren III of New York; four daughters, Turetha Renee Warren, Quintella Warren of Bronx, N.Y., Kim Richards of Charlotte, and Denise Tubbs of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Sgm. Ret. Henry Warren of Maryland; five sisters, Mary Bellamy of Newton Grove, Eldress Lula Newkirk of Mount Olive, Virginia Williams of New York City, Barbara Cunningham, and Beulah Cunningham of Bronx, N.Y.; and 10 grandchildren.
A viewing will be held today from 4 until 6 p.m. at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Eldress Lula Newkirk, 113 Smith St., Mount Olive.
