GASTONIA -- Marjorie Stafford Morrow, 79, of 1936 Wexford Court, died Thursday at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

A native of Goldsboro, she was daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Savage Stafford and the widow of Boyce Clinton Morrow Sr. She retired from Gaston County Schools, having taught many years at Ashbrook High School, and was a member of Flint Groves Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Boyce Morrow of Mint Hill and David Morrow of Gastonia; one daughter, Candy Morrow of Gastonia; two brothers, David Stafford of Stafford, Va., and Glenn Stafford of New Bern; and six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Gaston Memorial Park. The Rev. Ronnie Bowers will officiate.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at McLean Funeral Directors, Gastonia.
