FOUR OAKS -- Stacy Lee Johnson, 71, of Homestead Road, died Monday at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.

The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Hill of Neuse Memory Gardens.

Mr. Johnson was born in Johnston County and was the son of Virginia P. Thompson and the late Elam P. Johnson.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Jean Stewart Johnson; three daughters, Wanda Dupree of Seattle, Wash., Teresa Van Allen of Clarksville, Tenn., and Laura Hendrix of Pine Level; two stepdaughters, Debbie Murphy of Clayton, and Anita Hawley of Newton Grove; two sisters, Rita Johnson of Benson and Carolyn Wheeler of Coats; one brother, Billy Dean of Four Oaks; and three grandchildren.

The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30 until 9 on Thursday.
