DOUGLAS A. KEECH

Douglas Aurthur Keech, 59, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Holder will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Keech was born in Washington, N.C, to the late Edgar and Bertie Moore Keech and was married to Margaret Jean R. Keech. A veteran of the United States Navy, he worked for CP&L for 20 1/2 years and was an Instrumental Control Technician at Bayer Corporation in Clayton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Margaret Faye and Ernie Bass of Princeton and Georgette Lee Keech of Goldsboro; three brothers, James Keech of Goldsboro, Carlton Gene Keech of Kenly and Marvin Leonard Keech of Washington, N.C.; three sisters, Ellen Faye Keech, Virginia Dare Cooper and Shirley Asbey, all of Washington, N.C.; and one grandchild, Beverly Faye Crawford of Princeton.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro
