SEVEN SPRINGS -- Norma Grey Ezzell Barwick, 76, of 227 Adams Road, died Saturday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Whitfield officiating. Burial will be in Smith Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Barwick was preceded in death by her parents, Cullen Ezzell and Kate Holloman Ezzell Pridgen, and her siblings, Joe Ezzell, Hilda Ezzell Pate, Hendy Ezzell, and B. Ezzell.

She was a member of Grant's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Grady Barwick of the home; four children, Layton Glen Barwick of Goldsboro, Grady Cheryl Newcomb of Seven Springs, Warren David Barwick and his wife, Mary Jo, of Rocky Mount, and Barbara Carol Morris and her husband, Edward T., of Toano, Va.; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Haley, Johnny Haley, Cristel McKinney, Allen Barwick, Keesha Kast, Amy VanDyke, and Tammy Malinowski; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 until 9, and other times at the residence.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Assoc., P.O. Box 27985, Raleigh, N.C., 27611.
