RICHARD WOLFE JR.

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Richard "Dickie" Wolfe Jr., 59, of 2097 Pineview Cemetery Road, died Tuesday.

The funeral will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Otto Griffin will officiate. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery.

Mr. Wolfe was born in Wayne County to the late Richard Floyd and Cora Mae Lancaster Wolfe and was married to the late Ellen "Lib" Wolfe. He was self-employed paint contractor and was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Richard William Wolfe; a brother, Bobby Ferrell, and a sister, Doris Womble.

He is survived by two sons, Tim Wolfe of Stantonsburg and Doug Wolfe of Goldsboro; one daughter, Cynthia "Peaches" Roycroft of Seven Springs; two brothers, Ricky Wolfe and Nelson Wolfe of Pikeville; six sisters, Carolyn Cox of Pikeville, Linda Woodard of Goldsboro, Nelda Mozingo of Pikeville, Ann Meno of California, Dorothy Trombley of Colorado and Joyce Dabbs of Florida; three grandchildren, Timothy Wolfe of Beautancus, Ryan Wolfe of Beautancus and Adrian Richard Store of Seven Springs; and four stepchildren, Virgil Jr., Jeff, Ricky and Sandra.

The family will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the funeral, and at the home at other times.
