DALLAS GORE
WARSAW -- The funeral for Dallas Allen Gore, 61, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Edgar Rouse will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Gore died Monday at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center in Wilmington.
He was the son of Margaret Miller Gore of Warsaw and the late Allen Wright Gore.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Judy Elaine Wallace Gore of the home; three sons, Michael Wayne Gore and wife Faye of Warsaw, the Rev. Timothy Gore and wife Joie of Lynchburg, Va., and Joe Allen Gore and wife Deborah of Warsaw; two sisters, Shelby Blanchard and husband Buck of Turkey and Christine Guy and husband James of Warsaw; and four grandchildren, Cora Gore, Joshua Calab Gore, Seth Gore and Ashley Gore.
The family will receive friends at Calvary Baptist Church following the burial on Thursday, and other times at the home on Carlton Chapel Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Boulevard, Atlanta, Ga., 30319.
