LOUISE M. KING

Louise McIntyre King, 87, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill Holy Church, where Mrs. King was a member of the Mother Board. Elder Howard McNair will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. King worked in the Senior Companion Program and also as a volunteer at the Wayne County Mental Health Crisis Hot Line.

She is survived by one son, Ira Lee King of Goldsboro; two daughters, Sandra King Harper of Durham and Geraldine King Bynum of Goldsboro; two sisters, Minnie Bell Hill and Daisy Mae Swinson of Goldsboro; and 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the residence at 1217 Porter Street.

The viewing will be from 1 until 4 p.m. on Tuesday at McIntyre Funeral Home, from 5 until 7 on Tuesday evening at New Stoney Hill Holy Church, and at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.

Flowers are welcome, or memorials donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1700, Chicago, Ill., 60601-7633.
