JAMES GREENFIELD SR.

BORDENTOWN, N.J. -- James McKinley Greenfield Sr., 78, died Thursday at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis.

A native of Bordentown, he was the son of the late Walter and Fannie Greenfield. He was a World War II veteran and was retired from Englewood Public Works Dept. He attended the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church of Bordentown and was a member of Masonic Prince Hall Grand Lodge and a former Captain of the Clown Unit.

He is survived by two daughters, Sara Summiel of Ewing and Janet Ware of San Diego, Calif.; four sons, James Greenfield Jr. of Pocono Mountain, Pa., Howard and David Greenfield of Bordentown and Joseph Greenfield of Easthampton, N.J.; two stepsons, Jim and Ed Colzie; and 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 .a.m. at Central Baptist Church in Ewing. Interment will be in Princeton Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Trenton and also on Tuesday morning from 9:30 until 11 at the church.
