OLA MAE PATE

Ola Mae West Pate, 86, died Saturday at Britthaven Nursing Home.

Mrs. Pate was born in Vance County and was the daughter of the late Ben and Elma Hodge West. She was married to the late Elijah Pate. Mrs. Pate was a homemaker and a member of the Goldsboro Worship Center.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs with the Rev. Joe Leonard officiating.

Mrs. Pate is survived by her daughters, Betty E. Bell of Exmore, Va., and Shelia P. Nanna of Fredericktown, Mo.; her sons, Joseph Hill of Tennessee, Elijah Pate Jr. of Goldsboro, Charles Pate of Goldsboro and Frank Pate of Seven Springs; her brother, Ben West of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
