KENLY -- James Henry Bass, 66, died Saturday at his home.
The funeral will be held Tuesday night at 7 in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Tedder will officiate. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Kenly Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Wanda Bass Avery of Princeton; one brother, Barney Bass of Kenly; two sisters, Virginia Scott and Mary B. Jefferies of Kenly, Elgia Tedder of Lucama and Peggy Waddell of Wilson; his former wife, Margie E. Bass of Kenly; a granddaughter, Mini Avery of Benson; great-grandsons, Riley and Liam Fuller of Benson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Tuesday night.
