BETTY STEPHENSON
Betty Osburn Stephenson, 78, died today at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park. The Rev. Leonard Downes will officiate.
A native of Joplin, Mo., Mrs. Stephenson was the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Ruth Carnahan Osburn. She was a homemaker and was the widow of Raymond D. Stephenson.
She is survived by one daughter, Norma Stephenson of Goldsboro; one son, Brian Stephenson of Goldsboro; granddaughters, Casey Rhea Stephenson, Amy Kearney and husband Bryan, Samantha Nunn Dunleavey and husband Pat and Emily Beth Hinnant and husband Jesse Carl; her grandsons, Brian Taylor Stephenson and Billy Ray Nunn Jr. and wife Jaime; and her great-grandchildren, Bryan Kearney Jr., Holly Ann Kearney, Madison Abigail Kearney, Ashyln Elizabeth Reibe, Zachary Cade Reibe, Baily Lorraine Dunleavey and Donovan Granger.
The family will receive friends Monday from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Samantha and Patrick Dunleavey, 553 Nahunta Road, Pikeville, N.C.
