ABBIE ARMWOOD
WHITAKER -- The funeral for Abbie N. Armwood, of 10412 Village Heights, formerly of Calypso, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Zion Cross Baptist Church. The Rev. Samuel Sutton will officiate.
Mr. Armwood is survived by his wife, Frances Armwood of the home, and seven sons and three daughters; four brothers, William Frederick of Faison, James Frederick of Mount Olive, Joe Frederick of Enfield and Lenzy Frederick of Goldsboro; and two sisters, Bettie Lou McCullen of Mount Olive and Alice Parker of Goldsboro.
The viewing will be on Tuesday from 2 until 7 p.m. at Hilliard Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
