WALTER PARKER
Walter Freeman Parker, 82, died Monday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Elder Donald Ray Kornegay will officiate. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Mr. Parker is survived by his children, Annie Parker of Warsaw, Walter Parker of Roanoke Rapids, Evonne Parker of Bronx, N.Y., and William Parker, Barritt Parker and Merritt Parker of New York; and 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 3 until 6 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the home of Annie Parker, 1147 Penny Branch Road, Warsaw.
