MARY J. DANIELS
Mary J. Daniels, 96, formerly of 206 S. Leslie St., died Wednesday at Brian Rehabilitation Center.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Exum Jones. She was educated in Wayne County Public Schools and retired from Kemp Furniture. She was a member of Hooks Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Her survivors include three sons, Floyd Daniels Jr. and Archie Daniels Sr. of Goldsboro and Bobby R. Daniels of Greensboro; one daughter, Daisy Daniels Boone of Greensboro; and eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Johnnie Sherrod will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
The viewing will be from 4 until 7 p.m. today at Rhodes Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Daniels, 1401 S. Slocumb St.
