GLORIA WELLS
Gloria Johnson Wells, 67, of Pikeville, formerly of Wallace, died Thursday at her home.
The funeral will be held today at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Quinn-McGowen Funeral Home in Wallace. The Rev. William Hill Pearsall will officiate.
Mrs. Wells was born on May 30, 1937, in Duplin County. She was the daughter of the late Eusebieus and Mary Weise Wells Johnson and the widow of Cecil Ray Wells.
Her survivors include one daughter, Mary Wells Talton of Goldsboro; and three brothers, Larry Johnson of Burgaw, Joel Johnson of Kannapolis and Delana Johnson of Teachey.
Immediately following the funeral, the family will receive friends at the funeral home until 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tuscarora Council No. 424, Boy Scouts of America, P.O. Box 1436, Goldsboro, N.C., 27533-1436.
