MABLE McDANIEL
SMITHFIELD -- Mable Williams McDaniel, 93, of 718-B Martin Luther King Drive, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Smithfield.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Word of Faith Ministries, Four Oaks.
Mrs. McDaniel was the daughter of the late John and Mattie Avery Williams and was the widow of James Ebbe Williams and Charlie McDaniel.
She was a member of Word of Faith Ministries, where she served on the Floral Club and was a member of the Senior Choir and the Mother Board. She was a former member of Hickory Grove Disciples of Christ.
Her survivors include a son, Gethro Rosenwald Williams of Devils Racetrack Road, Four Oaks; two sisters, Ettie Altman of Four Oaks and Lina Mae Altman of Smithfield; and seven grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the residence at 718-B Martin Luther King Drive.
The viewing hours will be from 1:30 until 5 today at Walter Sanders Funeral Home in Smithfield.
