STEPHEN K. WHITLEY
STANTONSBURG -- Stephen Keith Whitley, 23, died Friday.
His hobby was working on cars and restoring them, and he was taking automotive mechanics courses at Wilson Technical Community College.
He is survived by his parents, Dan Keith and Patricia Harper Whitley; one sister, Danelle Whitley Heath and husband Butch of Farmville; his nieces, Jessica Danelle Stepps and Meghan Patricia Stepps of Farmville; his maternal grandmother, Peggy Harper of Stantonsburg; and paternal grandmother, Shelby Lane Harrell of Wilson.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill. The Rev. Tony Glass will officiate. Interment will be in Harper-Dawson Cemetery near the home.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home, and other times at the residence, 5060 Hwy 58 North, Stantonsburg.
