LOSSIE H. FIELDS

SNOW HILL -- Lossie Bel Heath Fields, of 1002 Kingold Boulevard, died Wednesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.

The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Liberty Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Bartholomew will officiate. Committal services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Snow Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Fields was a native of Greene County, born on July 9, 1914, to Johnny and Mae Tyndall Heath. She was the widow of Harry Brown Fields and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Snow Hill.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorothy F. Barrow and husband Wiley of Snow Hill, Nell F. Sauls and husband Ned of Snow Hill and Barbara F. Radford and husband Kermit of Tarboro; one son, Harry Lee Fields and wife Nannie Sue of Greenville; sisters, Fannie Farmer and Ethelean Shirley of Snow Hill and Peggy Game of Newport News, Va.; one brother, Edward Heath of Walstonburg; and 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service tonight, and other times at the residence.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 705 SE Second Street, Snow Hill, N.C., 28580.

Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
