BERTHA DAVIS
The funeral for Bertha M. Davis, 74, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. .at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. Bishop Alton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Augusta Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Tuesday at Margaret Tietz Rehabilitation Center in Jamaica, N.Y.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret J. Lane of Jamaica, N.Y.; one son, Randy Davis of Long Island, N.Y.; her mother, Fannie D. Wynn of Goldsboro; three sisters, Vangeline Middleton, Hattie Wynn and Elizabeth Dawson (William), all of Goldsboro; two brothers, James Wynn and George C. Wynn of Goldsboro; five grandchildren and eight grandchildren; and an aunt, Carrie Reid of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 until 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and other times at the home of Elizabeth and William Dawson, 1400 Mimosa St., Goldsboro.
