DONALD HOWELL

Donald M. Howell, 60, brother of Nadine Duncan of Goldsboro, died Monday at his home in Prince George County, Va.

He was born in Wilmington, and was the son of the late Benjamin and Lottie Parnell Howell. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a welder with Honeywell Corp. He was a member of Family Worship and Praise Center in Hopewell and the American Legion Post #147 in South Hill, Va.

In addition to his sister, he is survived by his wife, Fanny Howell, a son, Donald A Howell, and a daughter, Gwynn A. Spears, all of Prince George County; two brothers, Steven Howell of Cumberland, Va., and David Howell of Lunenburg County, Va.; another sister, Rebecca Stucky of Buckingham County, Va.;' his stepmother, Edna P. Howell of Lunenburg County; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Colonial heights chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in the LaCrosse Cemetery in LaCrosse, Va.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at the funeral home.

Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
