LESSIE JACKSON
MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Lessie Mae Jackson, 93, of 533 Waller Road, will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Goshen Disciple Church of Christ in Faison. Dr. David Atkinson will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jackson died Saturday at SunBridge Nursing Center.
She is survived by one son, Milton Jackson of Zebulon; five daughters, Annie Branch and Louree Jackson of Mount Olive, Georgia Faison of Brooklyn, N.Y., Elnora Baggett of Faison and Shirley Parker of Clinton; one sister, Margaret Johnson of Amarillo, Texas; and 23 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7:30 today at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and the family will be present for an inspirational wake at 6:30. At other times the family will be at the home of Louree Jackson, 101 Azalea Drive, Mount Olive.
