WILLIAM LAMBERT

CLINTON -- William Cameron Lambert, 78, of 908 Warren St.., died Wednesday at Sampson Regiona Medical Center.

The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Clinton Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Marvin Whitfield and the Rev. Michael Shook will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton City Cemetery.

Mr. Lambert was a native of Duplin County and was the son of the late Marvin James and Virginia Lambert. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Lewis Lambert of the home; one daughter, Deborah Hall of Clinton; one son, Louis, of Clinton; a brother, Rodney Lambert of Calypso; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
