ROGER B. WADE

Roger Bruce Wade, 59, of 707 Stoney Creek Church Road, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service was held this afternoon at 12:30 at the Crumpler Family Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Holder and the Rev. Magalene Locklear officiating.

Mr. Wade was a native of Wayne County and was the son of Celia Crumpler Wade of Goldsboro and the late James Wilson Wade. He was employed with Firestone in Wilson and had served in the United States Army.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Sue Casey Wade; his daughters, Pamela Wade Lee and husband, Tony, of Lumberton and Sherri Wade Cannon and husband, Allen, of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Haley Cannon, Allyson Cannon, Alex Lee and T.J. Lee; his brother, James Dwight Wade of Goldsboro; his sister, Cindy W. Blevins of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Wade King.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), care of Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, P.O. Box 37364, Washington, DC 20013-7364.

The family received friends Sunday at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
