EDSEL MCLAWHORN
KINSTON -- Edsel "Wayne" McLawhorn, 68, of 1941 Hullwood Drive, died Friday.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lannie McLawhorn and a daughter, Lawanda McLawhorn.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Minister Jerry McLeod officiating. Burial will follow at Snow Hill City Cemetery. Visitation will be held this evening from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.
He was survived by his wife, Bonnie McLawhorn of the home; three daughters Belinda Vargas, Tanya Vazquez and Candace Acord all of Austin, Texas; two sons, Gregory Wayne McLawhorn of Kinston and Justin McLawhorn of the home; mother Beulah Herring McLawhorn of Virginia; two sisters, Ann Pritchard and Esther Vause, both of Virginia; five grandchildren Cory, Brina, Christin, Kassie and Hudson.
