MAYSVILLE -- David William Talley, 61, died Friday, January 21 at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
A native of Annapolis, Md., he was the owner of Dave's Surplus in Maysville for the last 12 years. Before that, he worked part time for the Suburban Propane in Dover, Del., for 20 years in service and delivery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Daisy Youngren Talley.
He was survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet; a daughter, DeAnna of Goldsboro; one sister, Janet L. LeVan of Goldsboro; two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
