BENNIE WILLIAMS

MOUNT OLIVE -- Bennie Williams, 89, of 954 Atlas Price Road, died Saturday at SunBridge Care Center in Mount Olive.

Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Lundy & Florida Howell Williams. He was married to the late Etta Hill Williams and was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Grant's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Williams Family Cemetery located at Grant's Chapel Church. The church pastor, Tom Miller, will conduct the service.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Ann Williams of Mount Olive; three grandchildren, Wendy Williams of Durham, Ricky Williams of Mount Olive, and Beverly Williams of Durham; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends today from 5 until 7 p.m. at Tyndall's Funeral Home in Mount Olive and other times at the home of Jimmy & Ann Williams, 958 Atlas Price Road, Mount Olive.
