HARLAN, Ky. -- Grant "Bud" Noe Jr., 74, died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Durham.
He is survived by three daughters, Betty Noe of Goldsboro, Susie Chase of Pikeville, and Donna Childers of Erwin; one son, the Rev. Nick Noe of Harlan, Ky.; four brothers, Elmer New of Loyall, Ky., Carl Noe of Barbourville, Ky., Bill Noe of Wallins, Ky., and Danny Noe of Cranks, Ky.; one sister, Barbara Creech of Keith, Ky; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Harlan Church of God with his son, Nick, and his son-in-law, the Rev. Alton Childers, officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, Ky.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 9 at Harlan Church of God.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
