BONNIE R. HINES

Bonnie Rose Hines, 92, of 512 N. Jackson St., died Saturday at the Brian Center.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Lindsey Green officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

A native of Sampson County, Mrs. Hines was the daughter of the late John William and Venie Warren Rose and was married to the late J. Gurney Jinnette, the late Marvin Wells, and the late Paul Hines.

Mrs. Hines was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She worked as a housemother for boys at the Goldsboro Odd Fellows Home in the late 1930s and later worked as a private sitter for many years.

She is survived by one son, Henry Jinnette, and wife, Louise; one daughter, Mary Anna Jinnette McCullen, and husband, Deets, of Goldsboro; one brother, Byron Rose of Clinton; four grandchildren, James Jinnette of Goldsboro, Lynn McCullen Spear of Raleigh, Bonnie Jinnette Dauterman of Roseburg, Ore., and Lewis McCullen of Greenville, S.C.; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Jinnette, Ryan Spear, John Thomas and James Dauterman; and three sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hollowell Rose, Lucille Clark Rose, Alice Sykes Rose and Lila Mae Weaver Rose.

Mrs. Hines was preceded in death by three sisters, Blanche Rose Johnson, Jewell Rose Lynch and Elizabeth Rose Blalock, and four brothers, Graham W. Rose, Herbert E. Rose, John William Rose Jr. and James E. Rose.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Methodist Church, Senior Companions Fund, 204 East Chestnut Street, Goldsboro, N.C. 27530.
