CLINTON E. DEBRITO

RALEIGH -- Clinton Elmo DeBrito, 86, died Wednesday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

A native of Richmond, Va., he was the son of the late William and Clara Tucker DeBrito and was married to the late Eunice DeBrito and Sophie P. DeBrito.

Mr. DeBrito was retired from the State of North Carolina and was a member of the Goldsboro Elks Lodge #139 B.P.O.E. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.

Private entombment will be on Friday at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Raleigh, with the Rev. Suzanne Owens officiating.

Mr. DeBrito is survived by two sons and their wives, Charles W. and Rosalie DeBrito of Raleigh and Dr. Phil G. and Ruth DeBrito of Raleigh; two brothers, William H. DeBrito of Raleigh and Carter G. DeBrito of Lake Tahoe, Nev.; his grandsons and their wives, Charles Drew and Kim DeBrito of Raleigh and Gary and Dee McDaniel of Camden, N. C.; and one great-grandson, Samuel Matthew DeBrito of Raleigh.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Phillips, and a brother, Charles DeBrito

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's St., fourth floor, Raleigh, N.C., 27605.
