REV. JOSEPH EDWARDS
KENLY -- The Rev. Joseph Garland Edwards, 75, of 12427 N.C. Hwy. 42 E., died Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. The Rev. Mike Capps will officiate. Burial will be in Moore's Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Vernice Johnson Edwards; two sons, Joe Edwards and Bruce Edwards of Kenly; one sister, Virginia Wall of Selma; and three grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
