WILSON T. BLACKMON
CLAYTON -- Wilson Troy Blackmon, 40, died Friday.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.
He is survived by his parents, Wilson Earl and Sharon D. Blackmon of Clayton; two sisters, Sherri Blackmon Hill and husband, Donnie "Trey" of Clayton, and Sheila Blackmon Taylor and husband, J. Rodney Sr. of Clayton; one half-brother, Tony E. Blackmon and wife, Shelia J. of Clayton; paternal grandparents, Otha Blackmon of Benson, and paternal grandmother, Myrtle Beasley of Garner; seven nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Boyd Phillips of Clayton.
The family will receive friends today from 1 until 3 p.m. on McLaurin Funeral Home, with service to follow at 3. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's St., Raleigh, N.C., 27605.
