WARSAW -- Willie Evelyn Knowles Minshew, 65, died Wednesday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Warsaw United Methodist Church. The Rev. Henry Swanza will officiate. Burial will be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mrs. Minshew was the daughter of the late Edwin Knowles and Sarah Ezzell Knowles of Duplin County. She was the assistant manager at the Super Dollar Store in Warsaw.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur Minshew of the home; three sons, Terry West of Turkey, David West of Goldsboro and Timmy West and his wife, Shannon, of Kenansville; one daughter, Sherry Pope and her husband, Craig, of Warsaw; one stepdaughter, Shelly Johnson of Charlotte; one brother, Ernest T. Knowles and his wife, Marjorie, of Warsaw; two sisters, Myrtle Knowles Beard of Warsaw and Dollie Knowles Carroll and husband, Gordon, of Turkey; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw, and other times at the residence at 420 East Pollock Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warsaw United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 422, Warsaw, N.C., 28398.
