BEA BOOKER
WALLACE -- The funeral for Willie Beatrice "Bea" Bryant Booker, 76, of Dunn, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oakey Plain Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Hooks will officiate. Burial will be in the Murray family cemetery.
Mrs. Booker died Saturday.
She was a native of Duplin County daughter of the late David and Lizzie Bryant.
Surviving are seven daughters, Janette Miller of Solcomb, Ala., Annette Reed of Charlotte, Viola Ann Lee of East Orange, N.J., Judy Newkirk of Dunn, Michelle Booker of Benson and Sheila Booker and Deanne Booker of Fayetteville; three sons, Daniel Brinson of Magnolia, Clifton Bryant of Dunn and William Booker of Newark, N.J.; sisters, Eva Clowers of East Orange, N.J., and Bertha M. Barker of New Haven, Conn.; and 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 at Matthews Funeral Home in Wallace.
