KENNETH CRISP

HIAWASSEE, Ga. -- Kenneth Morris Crisp, 69, died Friday in Atlanta, Georgia.

A native of Wayne County, Mr. Crisp was the son of the late Melvin Dewitt Crisp and Nina Long Crisp. He was a 1954 graduate of Goldsboro High School and had served in the North Carolina National Guard.

Mr. Crisp was a partner and retired as general manager of Greenbrier Farms after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Virginia Nurserymen's Association and was a member and served as secretary of the Kiwanis Club. He had also served as president of the Woodard's Mill Civic League.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Joe Francisco officiating.

Mr. Crisp is survived by his wife, Beverly White Crisp; his children, Michael David Crisp and wife, Jennifer of Atlanta, Ga., Jeffery Allen Crisp and wife, Gwen of Chesapeake, Va., Christopher Brian Crisp of Gainesville, Fla., and Kimberly Crisp Shelton and husband, Jason of Blacksburg, Va.,; his grandchildren, Walker W. Crisp, Langley E. Crisp, and Toliver J. Crisp; his brothers, W. D. Crisp and wife, Molly of Goldsboro and David M. Crisp and wife, Glendora of LaGrange; and his sisters, Elizabeth C. Francisco and husband, Cecil, Shirlean Crisp and Mary C. Hood and husband, Rex, all of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, Elizabeth Francisco, 502 Abington Place, Goldsboro.
