CAROLYN SUBER

Carolyn Newsome Reid Suber, 66, of Egg Harbor, N.J., formerly of Fremont, died Sunday in New Jersey.

The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at St. James Holiness Church in Stantonsburg. The Reverend Dr. Eddie B. Coley will officiate. Burial will be in Turner Swamp Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by six daughters, Demetria (Tim) Bagner of Somerset, N.J., Tamiko Suber of Egg Harbor, N.J., Narci (Gamal) Alwan of Atco, N.J., and Bovier (Wayne) Sims of Newtonville, N.J., Carolyn Bell of Egg Harbor, N.J., Sheila (Bobby) Mayer of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Pierre Reid of Egg Harbor and Robert M. (Romeka) Reid of Los Angeles; three sisters, Cassandra Newsome of Bridgeton, N.C., Ethel N. Barnes of Goldsboro and Thelma N. Rogers of Fremont; one brother, Johnnie Newsome of Royal Palm Beach, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three aunts, Alberta Barnes, Emma (Ray) Fennell of Goldsboro and Annie Bryant of Philadelphia, Pa.; and four uncles, Leonard (Phyllis) Shadding, Fred (Katherine) Shadding, Wiley Shadding of Goldsboro and Franklin Shadding of Philadelphia, Pa.

The viewing will be held at St. James Holiness Church in Stantonsburg from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday.

The family will receive friends at 109 Windfield Drive in Goldsboro.

Hamilton Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
