SUDIE TURNER

Sudie Harper Turner, 94, of 1001 S. Andrews Ave., died Wednesday at her home.

A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Luby and Lola Thompson Harper. She attended Grace Missionary Baptist Church.

A Celebration of her Life will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Kinston.

She is survived by her husband, Mack Turner Jr.; her daughter, Barbara Turner McAllister and husband Charles of Goldsboro; her sons, Bobby Lee Turner and wife Margaret of Kinston and William Earl Turner and wife Kim of Wilmington; her sisters, Hazel Mize and Letha Sullivan, both of Kinston; her brothers, Herman Harper and Clifton Harper and wife Evie, all of Kinston; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will only receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
