ELBERT YELVERTON
Elbert Yelverton, 70, of 508 E. Walnut St., died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Wed-nesday at 1 p.m. at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Ezekiel Sutton will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Yelverton is survived by his wife, Essie H. Yelverton; three sons, Anthony Ray Fleming of Fremont and Michael Yelverton and Dexter Yelverton of Goldsboro; two daughters, Lila Green of Fremont and Sharita Yelverton of Goldsboro; one brother, Melvin Yelverton of Goldsboro; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 8 today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro.
