LUCRECIA CLAUSSEN

SHERMAN, Texas -- Lucrecia Adilee O'Donley Sallee Claussen, 83, mother of Clarence "Butch" Sallee Jr. of Goldsboro, died Wednesday at the Wilson-N-Jones Hospital.

Mrs. Claussen was a native of Utica, Okla., and was the daughter of the late J.A. "Jim" and Nettie C. Cross O'Donley. She was the widow of Clarence Sallee and Robert Claussen. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church in Denison, Texas, and was a former employee of Mead School and the Dallas Post Office. After moving to Sherman, Texas, she became active in the NARFE Association and the Four Seasons Garden Club.

In addition to her son and his family, she is survived by a daughter, Janice Marshall Talmage of Denison, Texas; four sisters, Jane Anderson, Sue Ruhl and Evonne Hunnicutt of Durant, Okla., and Betty Callahan of Norman, Okla.; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. The family will be there today from 6 until 7 to receive friends.
