JEAN FORREST HOLLOMAN

MOUNT OLIVE -- Opal Jean Forrest Holloman, 69, of 134 Dale Road, died early Saturday morning at her home.

She was born in Greene County and was the daughter of the late George C. Forrest and Cleo McLawhorn Forrest Small. She was retired from O' Berry Center where she worked in food service. She worshipped at the Mount Olive Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Her survivors include her husband, Kenneth J. Holloman Sr. of the home; two sons, Kenneth Holloman, Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., and Steve Holloman and his wife, Anita of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Nancy Edna Hunold of Kinston; four grandchildren, Shane Holloman and his wife, Arelis, Jeremy Holloman and his wife, Holly, Bryan Holloman and his wife, Katie, and Stephen Holloman; and four great-grandchildren, Wayne Strickland, Brandon Holloman, Ethan Holloman, and Alexis Holloman.

A funeral service will be held at Tyndall Funeral Home on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Nolan Wiggins leading the service. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 7 until 9, and at other times at the residence.
