SELMA HILL

Selma Rebecca Smith Hill, 93, died Friday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev.s Gerald Holloman and Reynolds Smith will officiate. Interment will be in the Hill Family Cemetery.

A native of Greene County, Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the late John R. and Leona Stallings Smith. She was a homemaker and the widow of Luke Hill. She had been a member of Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church since 1938 and attended faithfully until her health declined.

She is survived by one son, Floyd Luke Hill of the home; a grandson, Floyd Mark Hill of Goldsboro; two sisters, Mildred Head of Dunn and Jessie Mozingo of Florida; and special nieces, Ruby Pope of Goldsboro and Margaret Narron of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral, and other times at the residence at 204 East Wayne Road, Goldsboro.

Taylor-Tyson Funeral Home in Snow Hill is serving the family.
