PAUL G. NEWSOME III
NEWTON GROVE -- Paul Garrison Newsome III, 26, died Tuesday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
He was born in Wayne County, was a 1997 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School, and was employed with Lee Electric of Aberdeen.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Barbara Edmundson Cruse and Rob Cruse of Princeton; his maternal grandmother, Sadie Edmundson of LaGrange; uncles and aunts, Bobby and Carman Edmundson of Newton Grove, Billy R. Edmundson Jr. and Ann Edmundson of Goldsboro, and Suzanne and Tommy Jeffers of Goldsboro.
He was also the grandson of the late Billy Ray Edmundson.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Sadie Edmundson, 1556 New Hope Road, LaGrange.
