MYRTIE DARDEN
WARSAW -- Myrtie Brock Darden, 87, died Saturday at Glen Care Nursing Home.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.
Mrs. Darden is survived by her husband, McEnnis Darden of Warsaw; four sons, Frank Darden and Danny Darden of Mount Olive, Louis Darden of Faison and Phil Darden of Washington, N.C.; daughters, Jessie Peadon of Elm City and Maybelle Ezzell and Susan Potter of Warsaw; a sister, Beatrice Moore; and 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight.
