ETHEL CAVENAUGH
Ethel Carter Cavenaugh, 88, of 543 Davis Mill Road, Fremont, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont. The Reverend Arnold Ball will officiate.
Mrs. Cavenaugh was a native of Wayne County and was the daughter of the late John Gordon and Lillian Daubigny Carter.
She is survived by five daughters, Nancy Barnes, Frances Ballance and Helen Radford of Fremont and Rachel Aldridge and Faye Radford of LaGrange; twenty-six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Thomas Cavenaugh; one son; two brothers; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
