SAMUEL BRITT
MOUNT OLIVE -- Samuel Lee Britt, 59, of 137 E. Hillsboro St. died Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville.
He was a native of Sampson County and was the son of the late Percy Lee Britt and Kathleen Corbett Britt. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church of Mount Olive. Dr. Timothy Pepper will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Mr. Britt is survived by three aunts, two uncles and other relatives.
They received friends on Saturday night at Family Funeral Service in Faison.
