ERVIN MORRIS

Ervin Walker Morris, 96, died Tuesday at Sunbridge Care and Rehab Center in Mount Olive.

He was a former resident of Thomasville and a graveside service will be held there on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was the son of the late James Madison Morris and Estella Ingram Morris and the widower of Maude Estella Lovelace Morris. He was reitred from Modern Carvind and was a U.S. Army vetern of World War II. He was a member of the Church of God in Thomasville for a number of years.

His survivors include three stepsons, Bill Lovelace of Wilmington, Bob Lovelace of Califronia and Jim Lovelace of Dudley; and nine stepgrandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville one hour prior to the graveside service.
