Rosa Ann Johnson Jenkins Anderson, 86, died Friday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Sylvia Jenkins.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Georgianna Buie John-son and was the widow of Daniel Joseph "D.J." Jenkins and Raymond Anderson. Mrs. Anderson worked with Carolina Uniform before retiring.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Whitley Church with the Revs. Ferrell Hardison, Andy Stovall and Graham Royall officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

In addition to her son and daughter-in-law, she is survived by her step-sons, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Joyce of Goldsboro and Vernon Anderson and wife, Linda of Wilmington; her granddaughter, Angie Grady and husband, Michael of Wilmington; her step grandchildren, Randy Anderson and wife, Kay of Kenly, Beverly Lane and husband, George of Goldsboro and Kevin Anderson of Goldsboro; her great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kaitlyn and Zachary Grady, all of Wilmington; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Dennis of Kinston, Ruby Trott of Alabama, and Janice McLendon and husband, the Rev. Tommy McLendon of Goldsboro; her brothers-in-law, Needham "Shorty" Talton, Riley Anderson, the Rev. Harold "Bud" Anderson and wife, Alice, and Jack Anderson and wife, Eunice, all of Goldsboro; her step-daughter-in-law, Linda Pate; and special nieces and nephews, Carol Bass, Betty Wiggins, the Rev. Graham Royall and Bill Royall.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Georgia R. Talton and Elizabeth "Lib" Royall; her sisters-in-law, Paulene Hall and Velma Collins; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Jenkins, Bill Anderson and Pete Anderson.

The family will receive friends today from 3 until 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her son and daughter-in-laws, Eddie and Sylvia Jenkins, 112 Quailcroft Drive.
