SCOTT SHERMAN
Cary Scott Sherman, 41, died Sunday in Columbus County.
No formal services will be held.
He was born in Goldsboro and was the son of the late Thurman Earl "Red" Sherman and Georgie Witherington Sherman.
He is survived by three brothers, Keith Sherman and his wife, Karen, of Goldsboro, Mike Sherman and his companion, Brenda Marsh, of Rocky Mount and Doug Sherman of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; one sister, Wanda S. Harris and husband, Tom, of Louisburg; two nephews, Brandon Sherman and Kyle Sherman; and three nieces, Amy Sherman, Brianna Sherman and Justin Sherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thurman Earl Sherman Jr.
