Bucilla Leana Cain, 74, died last Wednesday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital after a long battle with diabetes.

Funeral services will be held this Wednesday at noon in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. Apostle Nobert E. Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Mill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cain was born in Milledgeville, Ga., to the late Essie Mae Robinson and Alex Bonner Sr. She had been a 40-year-member of Monumental Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Pa., where she sang in the adult choir. She moved her membership to Deeper Life Church Ministries in 1998.

She is survived by two sons, Pastor Peter Melvin Jackson Jr. and wife, Cynthia, of Pittsburg, Pa., and Paul William Jackson and wife, Rosemary, of Upper Marlboro, Md.; four daughters, Dorothy Louise Young of Pittsburg, Pa., Mary Patricia Wilson and husband, Eddie, of Goldsboro, Arlene Avery Lindsay of Goldsboro; and Rita Delores Harris and husband, Keith, of Pittsburg, Pa.; one brother, Alex Bonner Jr. and wife, Annabelle; and three sisters, Willie Pearl Williams, Eliza Mae Jackson and Martha Johnson all of Pittsburg, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter M. Jackson Colletti Sr.; three brothers, David Bonner, John Bonner and Oliver Bonner.

The viewing will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, one hour prior to the funeral.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter and caretaker, Arlene Lindsay, 102 Schoodic Point in the Hunter's Creek Subdivision.
